Besides bragging on my family and showing them off, I also created this site as a means of telling the whole world about
what God had done for me in my life. I am no preacher of religious fanatic. I am just a woman who loves Jesus Christ and I
want the world to know. I hope that maybe my testimonies will convince some lost and lonely person to give God a try. God
knows that I was the queen of all screw ups not too long ago. I was convinced that my life was worth nothing. I believed that
I had fallen too far from grace for God to care about me anymore. I was running a hundred miles an hour in the absolute wrong
direction.
When God found me I was working as an exotic dancer in a tacky little club in Ft. Worth. I was in a 4 year relationship
with a man that I couldn't stand, and living in an old beat up house in the town that I grew up in. My current boyfriend Derek was
a friend of the my ex boyfriend. We started talking before my ex and I ever split up. We even made the mistake of sleeping
with each other. Derek introduced me to Calvary Church, where I would end up being saved and baptized in the name of Jesus
Christ. He also convinced me to quit working at the club and find a better way. I ended up working at Pizza Hut again. Shortly
there after my ex left me with all of our bills to move back home with his mother. About two weeks later I found out that
I was pregnant with my first child. So there I was drowning in debt, on the verge of being homeless, expecting a child,
and working at Pizza Hut. Needless to say this was one of the worst periods of my life. I ended up losing every stick of furniture,
every dish, and most of my clothes to my landlord. I left to stay with friends for a few days to figure out what I was going
to do and he moved out all of my things and demanded the back rent that I owed him. I realize now that God was
just setting the stage for the changes he had in mind for my life.
After losing everything I had God began to give me more that I could have ever imagined. First, he blessed me with a
wonderful job as a receptionist at a small company in the town I lived in. I was making almost double what I was making at
my former job, as well as doing the kind of work that I had always wanted to do. Shortly after that I was blessed with a beautiful
brand new apartment that I shared briefly with my former best friend. Then the good lord blessed me with a vehicle.
God continues to watch over and protect me everyday. My son was born 10 weeks premature and God has been with him every
step of the way. My son was off of the ventilator the 2nd day after he was born and that is unheard of. God also gave me the
blessing of healing after I had to deliver our child by emergency C-section. My second day after the surgery I was pretty
much at full strength. I was only in the hospital for two days and I was back at work one week after his birth. Which
was a major blessing because my former room mate had broken our lease without any notice to me and left me to pay the rent
by myself. God made a way for me everytime the situation seemed so bleak and hopeless. That is what I want people to know
and understand about me. My friends who know me and have seen what I have gone through always say how amazed they are at how
well I handled it all. But I want them and everyone to know that none of my success is due to me. It is ALL God! He thought
enough of me to dig me out of the grave that I had put myself in and put me where he knew I needed to be. All I did was tell
him that I wanted his will for my life and not mine. And eveyday since then everyday my life changes for the better. So for
all of you lost and lonely people out there, just know that there is a way out. God will never turn his back on you or forsake
you. All you have to do is ask and you shall recieve. I am living proof.
